We reached out to Kali because we wanted a tile backsplash and didn’t know where to start. She has a great eye for design and was able to help us find the perfect tile and pattern based on some Pinterest photos we showed her. When we couldn’t find a pre-cut tile, she found the perfect shade in a large tile and had our pattern custom made for us. She recommended grout and edging colors that would look great with the tile. Kali provided a high level of professionalism. She was very clean, took great care of our space, and cleaned up after she was finished. She treated our home as if it was her own. She assured us that she would provide high quality products and service, and what she provided exceeded our expectations. It was a simple kitchen backsplash that she provided, but it's one of those small things that have a large effect on a space. This is the second project Kali & Beachside Interior Remodeling has done for me. There's a reason she's done 2 projects for me and will be doing a future third when that time comes. All the boxes you should expect from a professional are checked consistently. Care, quality service and communication, punctual, organized, detailed, etc...These are traits you expect but are not as common as one would hope, but Kali exceeds these and more to the top level. With that being said, it's also the things you don't expect or would think about that makes her and Beachside great. The small little details that I wouldn't have thought that makes the project stand out even more. Also the care and respect she takes with my neighbors, my dog, and the desire to want the project to exceed the client expectations and go above and beyond what is asked for. For me personally, she is able to take my thoughts (which can often times be complex, demanding, and difficult to verbally outline to a contractor) and completely understand what I'm going for and what I envision. Not only that, but will see things I don't, offer suggestions, take my input like a pro, and make my vision enhanced. Kali did a fantastic job at our gym! She made CHALK look amazing! Her attention to detail and ability to have a solution for everything made my life so much easier. She truly knows her stuff and if she does not she will research and find the answer. She works extremely hard and is very trustworthy. Construction can already be difficult. So to have someone like her who cares and gives great effort everyday is of high value. You can't find that type of value easily. I bought a house three years ago and dealt with varying degree of annoyances from poor craftsmanship from the previous owner's remodel (Kali fixed it all). Mostly things that would be hard to catch at inspection. The biggest issue by far was a master shower leak that tied to poor installation within the tiling/threshold install (I have been educated by Kali lol). For three years I dealt with shower leaks and various handymen that couldn't get the job done and placed bandaid after bandaid to my frustration. I sought an initial quote from a competitor and was not only disappointed with their pricing, but they wanted me to do all of the work - from purchasing, having glass removed and getting materials in and disposed. Their position was to gut the entire bathroom (and for me to do the demo - ludicrous!). Kali is different - she is a high level extraordinaire in this space. She not only disseminated what was wrong within 5 minutes, but educated me and provided me true consultation. The reality is the shower did not need a total remodel, but fixing the specific issue could salvage the shower and perfect it. Kali is a perfectionist and that is a high deeming quality in my book. She doesn't take shortcuts and every detail is scrutinized and evaluated - I loved that! As a true professional, her punctuality and quotation matched her deliverables. The shower is working wonders for me and she has removed the bane of my homeowner's existence. Kali also squeezed in a stairway railing during the Holidays, so I could host my Grandma over for Thanksgiving - so grateful for this memory. Kali will be my contractor on all my future home, garage and home gym remodels because I trust her, appreciate her attention to detail and believe her approach in business is second to none. Kali is the best!! I am a local electrical contractor and Kali recently hired our company to help build out a beautiful custom garage gym/spa studio. I work with many general contractors and few are as prepared and organized as Kali! When we arrived to begin work she had prepared printed forms posted at each electrical fixture/device location with detailed notes on how we must install our work even though we had discussed everything during our initial walk through. This makes a huge difference when working with sub contractors because it reduces communication issues and makes sure the job is done right the first time without delays. My husband and I hired Kali to install a garage access door and update the closet doors, trims, and doors of my house. From the beginning Kali was very professional. She showed up on time for the estimate and provided a very detailed line-by-line of all the costs on our wish list. We revised the list and moved forward with the agreed upon contract. Kali is very communicative. We were in the loop in regards to the timeline, any hiccups (there always are), and any changes with the cost of material. Kali from beachside is still in the middle of renovating my garage to something I could have only dreamed of but I have been absolutely blown away by the level of service, professionalism, and results she has delivered so far.
